Military Support
Proudly supporting you and your family.
At Southfield School, we proudly support and enthusiastically welcome our military families, who make up 10% of our student body. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where all students feel welcomed and supported. We understand the unique challenges that military families face, including deployments, Permanent Change of Station (PCS) moves, and frequent relocations. Our staff is trained to help students navigate these transitions smoothly.
Admissions
Southfield School recognizes that military families are likely unable to visit area schools prior to relocating. Admissions Director Lesley Brice works closely with each family to help them navigate the admission and variable tuition processes as well as to make a well-informed decision. As part of the application process, Southfield will schedule a Zoom meeting that allows us to meet our student applicants and parents. An 18-minute virtual tour is available to families.
Military Grant & Variable Tuition
In addition to our commitment to creating a supportive community, we provide an annual $1,000 Military Grant to each child of full-time, active duty families. Families wishing to be considered for additional financial support are encouraged to apply for Southfield’s Variable Tuition program.
