Southfield School, founded in 1934, is an independent, co-educational school serving students from preschool through eighth grade, with an enrollment of 445. A proud member of NAIS, Southfield is the only school in North Louisiana accredited by ISAS, the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest. LS and MS AfterCare Assistant

Southfield School is seeking an Extended Day staff members for the 2026-2027 school year to support our after-school program from 2:30–5:30 PM each school day.

Candidates should have a warm, child-centered philosophy and enjoy working with young children in a collaborative and active environment. Responsibilities include distributing snacks, supervising students in classroom and outdoor play settings, and participating in daily activities and transitions. Candidates must be comfortable working outside in various weather conditions.
