Your First Steps to Quality Education

The admissions process at Southfield School is designed to be a warm and welcoming introduction to our vibrant learning community. Many families begin their journey with a personal tour of our beautiful campus and state-of-the-art facilities—a chance to see the joyful, engaged learning that defines Southfield in action. From there, parents are invited to complete an application and explore the grade-specific details that help ensure the best possible fit for their child. Once accepted, families receive a contract to finalize enrollment, along with details for submitting a tuition deposit to secure their child’s place. Throughout each step, we’re here to support and guide you, making the transition into our community as smooth and meaningful as possible.

1. Visit our Campus

One-on-one campus tours are offered during the school day and can be scheduled directly with Admissions Director Lesley Brice by email or phone.

2. Complete your Application

Families are invited to complete the online application at any time. Grade-specific information and admission requirements can be found below.

3. Schedule your Child's Applicant Visit

Upon receipt of the application, Admission Director Lesley Brice will contact your family to arrange a classroom visit and developmental screening for your child.

4. Consider applying for Variable Tuition

The ability of families to meet the cost of a Southfield education differs, and Southfield provides need-based assistance called Variable Tuition. A separate application is required to be considered for this reduced tuition option.

Application & Admission Requirements

Serving students from preschool through eighth grade, we strive to learn about the whole child during the admissions process to ensure that Southfield School has the environment and resources that will support their growth and development. By partnering closely with families, we work together to support each accepted student’s journey and help them thrive in a nurturing yet academically challenging environment.
