Academic Support
Southfield Learning Center
Dedicated to Unlocking Every Childs Potential
Southfield Learning Center is committed to supporting students with reading challenges and language-based learning differences through personalized, research-backed instruction. Our experienced educators use the Orton-Gillingham approach to provide targeted literacy support in both one-on-one and small group settings. This program, designed for students in Grades K–4, is led by teachers certified in the Orton-Gillingham method to ensure each child receives high-quality, individualized instruction.
Additionally, our students in grades 5-8 are able to participate in our Executive Functioning program. This initiative is designed to strengthen academic skills while developing key executive functioning abilities such as organization, time management, and self-regulation. Students will work closely with our reading specialists, who tailor their guidance to meet each learner’s specific needs.
At Southfield, our mission is to help every student reach their full potential—bridging the gap between how they think and how they learn, and instilling the confidence and skills needed for lasting academic success.
