Allows parents to ensure a space at Southfield for their students (in good standing) .
Each year, more than 90% of our parents will be able to get through our re-enrollment period without having to complete re-enrollment paperwork.
Continuous Enrollment provides a clear understanding of the number of returning students earlier in the school year, which allows us to plan with greater efficiency (for things such as staffing and student resources).
WHAT IS CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT?
Continuous Enrollment simply means that once your child is accepted to Southfield School, they will be enrolled until graduation (or until the parents or school decides the student will not return).
After initial enrollment, you’ll never have to deal with re-enrollment again (unless your family plans change). If things do change, parents will have until March 1st each year to simply notify the school in writing.
HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM SOUTHFIELD’S PREVIOUS RE-ENROLLMENT PROCESS?
In the past, Southfield families re-enrolled their children each year for the following school year. More than 90% of our families return year after year until graduation.

WHAT DO I GET OUT OF CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT?
A guaranteed seat for your student each year. Simplicity. Peace of mind.
With increasing enrollment, we are either at or near waitlists in many classes. Placement in next year’s class is an increasingly sought-after spot. With Continuous Enrollment, you will be securing a seat for your student until graduation or until you notify us in writing he/she will not return (by March 1st each year).
HOW DO I RE-ENROLL MY CHILD?
More than 90% of our families will have the convenience of ignoring the re-enrollment period and doing absolutely nothing! Each year, we will notify families of potential tuition increases in February. Families will have until March 1st to notify Southfield in writing they will not be returning for the following year. If the school is not informed in writing by March 1st, your child will be considered enrolled for the following school year.
WHAT IF MY PLANS ARE UNCERTAIN?

I APPLIED FOR VARIABLE TUITION LAST SCHOOL YEAR. DO I NEED TO RE-APPLY EACH YEAR?
All families who wish to apply for Variable Tuition and/or Military Grants must re-apply each year through School and Student Services.
