Southfield School students in 5th-8th Grades can participate in Cheerleading. They amplify school spirit throughout the year, including during Flag Ceremony, at our basketball games, and during a variety of school activities.

Cross Country is available for boys and girls in 5th–8th Grades. The cross country team trains two days a week after school and participates in local races on the weekends. Girls in Grades 5th–8th can participate in basketball as a part of Southfield Middle School Athletics. Each grade plays in the A.S.P.S. (Association of Shreveport Private Schools) and competes against the other Shreveport/Bossier area private schools, while also playing several out-of-league games against area public schools. Football is available for students in 1st-8th Grades through the JETS organization. JETS is comprised of area private school students that are combined to make specific grade-level teams.
