We understand that choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make.  Additionally, we believe that an investment in your child’s future is one of the best investments a family can make ensuring your student is prepared for future success. Planning for and investing in an independent school education requires a significant and thoughtful commitment.

An integral part of Southfield's mission is to promote and maintain a student body that represents the very best across all socio-economic groups. Providing Tuition Assistance to families who are unable to meet the full cost of tuition is one way we can attract and maintain strong students and expand our community.

Tuition assistance is available to students in Preschool, Kindergarten, and 1st through 8th grade and is awarded by grants based on need. A student must be admitted to Southfield before any financial aid decision can be made. A separate application for financial aid must be submitted and is evaluated by an outside financial aid service. This process is confidential. Please visit our Tuition Assistance Grants page for more details by clicking here.
Tuition is due in full by July 15 to avoid payment plan fees and tuition insurance. Semester and Monthly plans carry a service charge equal to 1.5% per month on the unpaid balance (After Tuition Assistance Grant applied). Semester and Monthly plans require participation in the Tuition Insurance Plan.
A non-refundable $400 deposit is due with the enrollment contract. This deposit will be applied to the first months tuition payment.
A limited number of scholarships have been established. The application requirements, amounts awarded and the duration and availability of these funds vary. Inquiries should be directed to the Admissions Director.
