Tuition Assistance

We understand that choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make.  Additionally, we believe that an investment in your child’s future is one of the best investments a family can make ensuring your student is prepared for future success. Planning for and investing in an independent school education requires a significant and thoughtful commitment.

An integral part of Southfield's mission is to promote and maintain a student body that represents the very best across all socio-economic groups. Providing Tuition Assistance to families who are unable to meet the full cost of tuition is one way we can attract and maintain strong students and expand our community.

Extended Care & After Care

Southfield offers Tuition Assistance Grants to qualified families based on demonstrated need.  Demonstrated need is defined most simply as the difference between the school's tuition and what the family can reasonably afford to pay.  To determine the amount a family can pay for tuition, Southfield School uses the analysis of an outside, objective service, School and Student Service (SSS) by NAIS.
