Welcome to Southfield
Welcome Letter from our Development Director

Southfield relies upon the generosity of trustees, faculty, staff, parents, grandparents, alumni and many friends to advance the school. Giving enriches the daily operations of the school, enables us to meet unusual needs, ensures we can maintain and improve the campus and provides for long term financial stability. Strong annual giving and a healthy endowment are vitally important to the school’s continued progress. We also encourage our parents to become involved in the classroom, attending events, volunteering to help with projects, sponsoring activities, and joining organizations that work for the benefit of our students and our school. Together, we support fund-raising projects as part of a collaborative effort that has helped guarantee that Southfield continues to educate future generations.

In addition, we hope – as virtually every independent school does – that you will support the Southfield Annual Fund to the extent that you are financially able. We also look forward to your participation in periodic capital campaigns that support campus needs and endowment. These funds are important to the long-term well being of the school. The responsibility for ensuring the fiscal stability of the school belongs to all members of the Southfield community.

There are several ways to make a gift and you can make a secure donation to the school through this website.

For information on the school’s needs or to inquire about making a gift to Southfield, please contact Melanie Johnson at 318-868-8773 or mjohnson@southfield-school.org.
