Dear Parents of Middle School Students,
A
Happy New Year, and a warm welcome to 2010. I am never more proud of our
children and community than when reporting back to families the generosity
demonstrated in support of our tremendous maintenance team and their families.
Thank you, very much indeed!
- In December, the

Ryan Downey (8th); Cole Evensky (8th); Tristan Hebert (8th);

Southfield Mathcounts team for competitions in the New Year.

- Our eighth grade girls’ and sixth grade girls’
basketball teams are champions of their age groups, and the seventh grade girls’ team was runner-up in the championship game of their
regular season. All teams received impressive trophies that are now on display
in the middle school lobby, and commemorative banners have been hung in the
gym. Brilliant job, girls, well done! The boys’ basketball season has begun in
earnest and enclosed is a boys’ basketball roster and game schedule for the
upcoming season.
Sincerely,
Gordon W. Walker,
Associate Headmaster
