Explorer News May 21-30th Wow, we are enjoying this beautiful spring weather. We are going on lots of walks and watering the plants all over campus. We are busy with bubbles and sidewalk chalk. Explorer News April 30th-May 4th This past week we had a blast splashing around in water just like frogs and watering the plants and flowers around campus with our spray bottles. This week we will continue to learn about life cycles that Spring brings. We have six very hungry caterpillars of our very own right in our classroom that we will observe as they make chrysalises. Explorer News April 23rd-27th
Spring has sprung in the Exploration class. We are enjoying lots of active outdoor play and have even ventured to the soccer field for a new adventure. Please remember to apply sunscreen on your children before school each morning. You are welcome to send sunscreen to school to be re-applied in the afternoon.

Explorer News April 9th-13th We hope everyone enjoyed the long Easter weekend. We have had so much fun hiding eggs and learning about animals that come from eggs. Toddlers love to fill and dump baskets full of eggs.

Here comes Peter Cottontail hopping down the Southfield trail! We had a lot of fun this week with rainbows and shamrocks. We made rainbows with sidewalk chalk and played a jumping game with the rainbows. While blowing bubbles on the playground, we discovered you can see a rainbow in a bubble. Explorers News March 5, 2012 We enjoyed exploring Zoo animals the last couple of weeks. We learned many animal names and practiced their sounds loudly and softly. We loved reading Polar Bear, Polar Bear and singing “Daddy’s Taking Us to the Zoo Tomorrow”. The next two weeks we will be exploring shamrocks and rainbows. There will be loads of green paint, squishy green playdough and lots of chances to mix yellow and blue to make green. ... |
