June 10 – 14

Campers will enjoy a week of learning about fire fighters, mail carriers, police officers, sanitation workers, and doctors and nurses. We will learn about how these people help better our community!

We will explore the ocean and the creatures that live there. We will end the week with a day of water fun!

Decades Week

JUNE  3 – 7

Monday will be groovy as we learn about the 70s.

Tuesday will be totally rad when we explore the 80s.

Wednesday will be “all that and a bag of chips learning about the 90s.

Thursday will be totally rad learning about the 2000s.

Friday we will step into the future as we imagine what upcoming decades may have in store.

We will explore China, Greece, France, Mexico, and Italy this week. We will cook popular food and create art from all over the world.

Summer Scientists

June 10 – 14: $160 + $35 SUPPLY FEE

Rising 1st-6th Graders • 9:00 am-12:00 pm

Come explore the world of science with Dr. Shumate in this week-long camp! Students will perform experiments that illustrate important, fun concepts in chemistry, physics, and biology. Every day will begin with students making a hypothesis, designing an experiment to test that hypothesis, then reaching a conclusion. We look forward to seeing you here this summer!

Princess Ballet Camp 

June 10 – 14: $160 + $10 supPLY FEE

Rising K – 5th Graders • 12:00-3:00 pm

Princess Ballet Camp: Learn classical ballet while dancing to music from classic princess movies. Feel free to come dressed in your prince or princess attire. We will dance, color, and have story time like royalty! On the last day of camp, there will be a performance to show off what we learned throughout the week.

Under the Sea Jazz Dance Camp

June 17 – 21: $160 + $10 SUPPLY FEE

Under the Sea Jazz Dance Camp: Dive in and join us for jazz dance camp this week! We will learn jazz style moves to summer themed songs. We will dance, color, have story time, and end each day with a dance party! On the last day of camp, there will be a performance to show off what we learned throughout the week.

Color Your World

Rising K-3rd Graders • 9:00 am-12:00 pm

Campers will create beautiful realistic and abstract art while experimenting with a variety of materials such as pencils, colored pencils, pastels, and watercolor paints.  Campers will develop their creative skills while making new friends and having FUN!

Doll and Me Camp

June 24 – 28: $160 + $10 SUPPLY FEE

Rising K-5th Graders • 12:00-3:00 pm

Doll and Me Dance Camp: Bring along your favorite doll to dance with every day of camp! We will learn a lyrical dance routine that features your doll. We will dance, read a book, and have a unique experience with your doll each day of the week!  On the last day of camp, there will be a performance to show off the routine we learned throughout the week.

Rube Goldberg Machine Design

July 8 – 12: $160 + $15 supPLY FEE

Rising 3rd-8th Graders • 9:00 am-12:00 pm

Campers will have fun and make new friends creating chain reaction machines like those made famous by Rube Goldberg where a seemingly simple task is made unnecessarily complicated (think: Mouse Trap). Teams will research, envision, and build Rube Goldberg machines using simple household items.  This will be a great adventure in problem-based learning. Success will require teamwork, problem solving, contraption design, prototyping, and testing. Students may be invited to bring in materials from home as well as using the provided recycled materials. The end of the week will be a big reveal when the machines are put to the test for all to see.

New York to LA Dance Camp

July 8 – 12: $160 + $10 SUPPLY FEE

Rising 1st-5th Graders • 12:00-3:00 pm

Dance to music that takes you from coast to coast at this New York to LA dance camp. From Broadway style moves to hip hop techniques we will travel through a variety of dance styles. Every day will be a new location to explore as we dance, color, and have story time. On the last day of camp, we will have a performance to show off what we learned over the week.

Memory Makers

July 15 – 19: $160.00 + $40 supPLY FEE

Rising 2nd-4thGraders • 9:00 am-12:00 pm

Calling all memory makers! Join us for a half day camp where we get to work together and get to know one another through sharing, creating, and documenting fun camp memories. Campers will fill an 8×8 scrapbook with pictures from home (20 + photos recommended). Each camper will turn blank pages into a book filled with photos, memorabilia, journaling, and embellishments!

Basketball Madness (5th-8th Grade)

July 15 – 19: $160 + $30 supPLY FEE

Rising 5th-8th Graders • 12:00 -3:00 pm

During this fun camp, our coaches work with the young players on developing their individual basketball skills.  We want to make the most of every day and we do that with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. 

Here are just a few things your child will learn out on the court: 

-Ball handling drills that you can work on at home to become more confident with the ball

-Proper shooting technique

-Passing and catching skills

-Defensive stance and movements

-Sportsmanship

-How to be a good teammate

Pokémon and Minecraft Camp

july 15 – 19: $160 + $25 SUPPLY FEE

Rising 2nd – 8th Graders • 9:00 am-12:00 pm 

Do you love all things Pokémon and Minecraft? Join us for a week of card trading, battles, themed snacks, crafts, games, a scavenger hunt, and more. If you DIG Minecraft or love Pokémon, catch all the fun at camp this summer! 

No experience necessary, but you will need to bring your own cards. This is also an active camp and we will not be playing Minecraft video games.

Southfield Cheer Clinic (2nd-4th)

*Southfield Students ONLY

July 22 – 25: $100 + $30 supPLY FEE

Rising 2nd-4th Graders • 1:00-3:00 pm

Your camper will enjoy a fun filled week learning cheers, chants, stunts, and dances alongside your favorite Southfield Cheerleaders. The week will conclude with a cheer showcase of all the material learned on Thursday at 2:30. Your cheerleader will also show off their skills at halftime during a middle school basketball game in the 24-25 school year! Snacks will not be provided, so please make sure your child has eaten before camp. Campers will be provided a T-Shirt to wear for their performances.

July 29 – August 2: $160 + $30 supPLY FEE

Rising 1st-8th Graders • 9:00 am-12 pm

Fill your days with games and sports related activities.  Included are soccer, flag-tag, scooter hockey, eagle ball and many, many more!
