Southfield does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, gender, religion, marital status, age, national and ethnic origin or disability in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid, and other school sponsored programs. Southfield is committed to seeking diversity of race, religion and ethnic origin among its students and faculty. Southfield School is committed to developing young people who will shape a world in which people respect and appreciate their common humanity. Because diversity of all kinds is experienced in many different ways, students are encouraged to explore the different cultures, interests, and perspectives around them at Southfield. Gaining an understanding of the differences and similarities between ourselves and those who share the world with us has built a school community which values the concepts of tolerance and inclusion. |
