The Lindsay and John E. Atkins Endowment for Families of Barksdale Air Force Base was established in 2008. It is a restricted endowment formed to provide need based financial assistance to children of military families stationed at Barksdale AFB, Bossier City, Louisiana.  Funding is available for grades K-8 and for the extended day portion of Preschool only.
