We had so much fun this week with our water play. The water table was full of yellow toys for filling and pouring. Next week we will introduce temperature concepts such as warm and cold. We will add ice to the water table, go for a walk in the warm sun and cool off with a cold ice pop.

This week we will introduce the classic Eric Carle book Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Young children love this book because of the bold bright illustrations, the repetition and the predictability. We will use this book to introduce colors, sequence, matching and to name the animals. If you do not own this book, please buy a copy for your child or visit the library to check one out.
