9/25/09:  Bonjour! We have a had a great first 6 weeks or so in French!  We have learned to say our names, the weather, how we are doing (ask the children to sing the "Comment ça va?" song for you), numbers, the days of the week, (dimanche, lundi, mardi, mercredi, jeudi, vendredi, samedi,), numbers 1-20, parts of the body, family members, and basic verbs such as sit, stand, be quiet, talk, sing, dance, walk, run, listen, etc. (tout le monde s'assoit, se lève, se tait, parle, chante, danse, marche, court, écoute, etc.).  This past week we started learning the French alphabet and next week we will start working on colors.  I hope your children are loving French as much as I love teaching them!  Please e-mail me if you have any questions.  A bientôt--
