8/26/11:  Bonjour!  We have a had a great first 2 weeks or so in French!  We have learned to say our names, the weather, and how we are doing (ask the children to sing the "Comment ça va?" song for you)! We have also begun work on basic verbs such as sit, stand, be quiet, talk, sing, dance, walk, run, listen, etc. (tout le monde s'assoit, se lève, se tait, parle, chante, danse, marche, court, écoute, etc.).   I hope your children are loving French as much as I love teaching them!  Please e-mail me at mbeck@southfield-school.org if you have any questions.
