Theme: Holiday Happenings

Literacy and Language:  The Tree, Clifford’s First Christmas, K is for Kwanza, Las Navidades, The Wild Reindeer, and Latkes and Applesauce and many more holiday selections.

Art Activities:   We will make a pinecone Christmas tree, a Hanukah star, and do some gift wrapping.

Discovery and Sensory:  We are still exploring magnets.  We will also make the holiday scent bag we didn’t quite get to last week

Math:  We will be counting holly berries, tree lights and ornaments.

Cooking:  No cooking this week due to Holiday program practices.

Parents Corner

We will be  practicing for the Holiday Program at 8:15 Monday morning in the gym.

Dress rehearsal is Wednesday at 8:40.  Please remember to send your child in white tights and a white turtleneck Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with a change of clothes. Performances are Thursday and Friday at 9:00.

The Holiday Party will be immediately following the Program on Thursday.

School dismisses at 12:00 NOON on Friday.

In an effort to keep our children safe, please refrain from using your cell phone while driving through carpool lines. We have had several scary instances due to distracted drivers that are texting or talking on the phone.  Carpool is a busy time, and we want to make every effort to keep everyone safe!  Thank you for your cooperation.  Please convey this message to anyone designated to pick your child up in carpool.
