Welcome back!  We hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving break.

Students should be plugging along on their Social Studies Fair projects.  Please see the green folder for details and information.  Most of the research should be completed, and students should be organizing information for the final project which is due in January.

We will be having a food festival on Tuesday, December 13 during 2nd period.  Each student has chosen a Latin American country to study.  Students will make a popular dish from that country to share with the class at our feast.

In language arts, we are deep into reading and writing poetry.  The students seem to really be enjoying the creative side of writing limericks and other forms of poetry.

Dates to keep in mind:

Thursday, 12/1- 6A will use the computer lab to do research either for Social Studies Fair or the Hispanic Food Festival.

Friday, 12/9- Vocabulary unit 3 test

Wednesday, 12/14- Book commercials due.  Presentation on Wednesday and Thursday. Test over verbs.
