First grade teacher Debbie Noone has been a member of the Southfield faculty since 1984. She had 6 years of experience in education prior to coming to Southfield and a BA and certification in early childhood and elementary education from Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge as well as a BS in Speech Therapy from Louisiana Tech University.

Reading/Language Arts:  Discuss plural forms of words and talk about CVCe word patterns and CVCe plurals.

 

Decodable ReadersWhen I Am A Princess and Kite Story.

We will be reading decodable readers in the classroom daily in small groups.  We will discuss comprehension questions about each story.

 

Spelling:  Words for this week are:   skate, spoke, came, ride, cute, dine, joking, making, shaved, smiled.
